Solar Water Timer
You can use the water timer to charge the new rechargeable battery by the solar panel on the timer, but please make sure to put it under the sunlight for 3days at least. Usually, the new rechargeable battery is without any power, the batteries must be fully charged for the first time use; otherwise, timer will not work.

Solar models in the installation of two nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries, please recharge the battery fully charged before installing. If you are using alkaline batteries (non-rechargeable batteries), masking the solar panels to avoid damage to the machine.

The water timer can replace the function of traditional knob water timer, easily operation with LCD display to show the state of water timer. Extra solar and rain stop function can help you take care of your garden better.

C. Battery Installation

Please use 2*AA alkaline battery to test this timer. Usually, the new rechargeable battery is without any power, the batteries must be fully charged for the first time use; otherwise, timer will not work. Please be noted that water timer will check if the valve is off when battery installed. (LCD will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems).

 

D. Solar Function (only VEL01)

You can use this water timer to charge the rechargeable battery by the solar panel on the timer, but solar panel must under sunshine. Usually, the new rechargeable battery is without any power, the batteries must be fully charged for the first time use; otherwise, timer will not work.

　

E. Time Mode Setting Operation Steps

After installed the batteries, please follow the steps to set up the time mode and auto-run the water timer.

[Simple Periodically Watering Setting Mode]

1.Start setting the time mode while LCD display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems

Press the 1st key (FREQ). LCD will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems, Adobe Systemsblink. (Water timer is in setting mode.)

2. Choose the time interval of periodically watering.

Press the 1st key (FREQ) continually to choose one time interval you like. LCD will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems, Adobe Systemsblink all the time. And the number of minute, hour or day will be changing accordingly. There are 16 kinds of time intervals in the system which you can choose.

Time interval: 1min. 5min. 10min. 15min. 30min. 1hour 2hour 3hour 4hour 6hour 8hour 12hour 1day 2days 3days 7days.

3.Choose the running time.

Press the 2nd key (RUN TIME) continually to choose one time interval you like. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, Adobe Systemsblink all the time. And the number of second, minute or hour will be changing accordingly. There are 16 kinds of running time in the system which you can choose.

Running time: 10sec. 20sec. 30sec. 45sec. 1min. 2min. 3min. 5min. 10min. 15min. 20min. 30min. 45min. 1hour 1.5 hour 2hours

4.Run the watering time mode.

Press the 5th key (AUTO). LCD will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems. You can see the time counting down automatically.

 

EXAMPLE: If you want the timer to water your garden 3 minutes in 12 hours.

Steps: Press the 1st key (FREQ) once to start setting the time mode, then press the 1st key (FREQ) 12 times to choose the time interval (Display 0 12:00 00). Press the 2nd key (RUN TIME) 7 times to choose the watering time (Display 00:03 00). At last, press the 5th key (AUTO) to finish the setting and run the watering timer automatically. LCD will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems and the time will count down automatically from 0 12:00 00. 

[Self-defined Periodically Watering Setting Mode]

1.Start setting the time mode.

Please Press the 5th key (SET). LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, Adobe Systemsblink. (Water timer is in setting mode.)

2. Self-defined the time interval of periodically watering.

01. Press the 4th key (ENTER) once to start self-defined the day in the watering time periodically.

LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, day blink.

02. Press the 1st key (－) or 2nd key ( + ) continually to choose the day number between 0 to 9.

03. Press the 4th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the hour in the watering time periodically. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, hour blink.

04. Press the 1st key (－) or 2nd key ( + ) continually to choose the hour number between 0 to 23.

    05.Press the 4th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the minute in the watering time

periodically. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, minute blink.

06.Press the 1st key (－) or 2nd key ( + ) continually to choose the minute number between 0 to 59.

07.Press the 4th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the second in the watering time periodically. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, second blink.

08. Press the 1st key (－) or 2nd key ( + ) continually to choose the second number between 0 to 59.

09. Press the 5th key (EXIT) once to finish the setting of time interval. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, Adobe Systemsblink.

Time interval can be any time within 10days.

3. Self-defined the running time.

01. Press the 1st key (FREQ) or 2nd key (RUN TIME) once to start self-defined the running time.

LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, Adobe Systemsblink.

02. Press the 4th key (ENTER) once to start self-defined the hour in the watering time periodically. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, hour blink.

03. Press the 1st key (－) or 2nd key ( + ) continually to choose the hour number between 0 to 99.

04.Press the 4th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the minute in the watering time periodically. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, minute blink.

05. Press the 1st key (－) or 2nd key ( + ) continually to choose the minute number between 0 to 59.

06. Press the 4th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined the second in the watering time periodically. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, second blink.

07. Press the 1st key (－) or 2nd key ( + ) continually to choose the second number between 0 to 59.

08. Press the 5th key (EXIT) to finish the setting of running time. LCD will displayAdobe SystemsAdobe Systems, Adobe Systemsblink.

Running time can be any time within 100hours.

4. Run the watering time mode.

Press the 5th key (AUTO). LCD will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems. You can see the time counting down.

 

EXAMPLE: If you want the timer to water your garden 20 seconds in 2 days and 22 hours.

Steps: Press the 5th key (SET) once to start setting the time mode, press the 4th key (ENTER) once to start self-defined day setting. Press the 2nd key ( + ) twice (display 2 00:00 00). Press the 4th key (ENTER) again to start self-defined hour setting, then press 2nd key ( + ) 22 times (Display 2 22:00 00). Press the 5th key (EXIT) to finish your periodically time interval setting. Press the 1st key (FREQ) or the 2nd key (RUN TIME) once to start setting the running time and press the 4th key (ENTER) thrice to start self-defined running second, then press 2nd key ( + ) 20 times (display 00:00 20). At last, press the 5th key (EXIT) to finish the setting and press 5th key (AUTO) again to run the watering timer automatically. LCL will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems and the time will count down from 2 22:00 00.

 

NOTE: THE WATER TIMER WILL AUTORUN THE LAST WATERING TIME MODE YOU SETTED.

　

F. Run Once Function

After setting the periodically time mode, you can choose run once function by press the 3rd key (RUN ONCE) when you need. Then, the timer will water only once according to the current timer mode. LCD will display Adobe Systems and time counting down as usual.

 The timer won’t water again unless you press the 3rd key (RUN ONCE) again to cancel the run once function.

 Note: The timer will count down periodically as per timer mode during run once function, but just watering once.

 

G. Manual open and close

01. Press the 4th key (OPEN), the water valve will open, LCD will display --:-- --Adobe Systems.

02. Press the 4th key (CLOSE) again, the water valve will close, LCD will display --:-- -- and Adobe Systems disappeared.

 All setting stops working now. You must press 5th key (EXIT) back to autorun mode, LCD will display Adobe SystemsAdobe Systems.

 

H. Rain Stop Function (only VEL01)

There are two metal slips (water collecting area) on the top. Put the water timer outdoors, the timer will stop watering when raining until next running time after the water collecting area is dry.

 

I. Battery Low Power

If batteries are low power. LCD will display Adobe Systems. When Adobe Systems is appearing, the electricity saving function will stop and LCD will bright all the time. Please change the batteries and set up again.
